Who is responsible for your data
Wilder Rincón, a natural person domiciled in Colombia. WireOps is the name I work under, not a company. No legal entity exists: there is no tax ID, no commercial registration and no registered company name. The person who receives your data, keeps it and answers for it is me.
Channel for any personal-data matter: hola@wireops.co.
Legal framework
This policy is governed by Colombian Law 1581 of 2012 and its implementing decrees, the Colombian personal-data protection regime. The supervisory authority is the Superintendency of Industry and Commerce.
What data is collected
Only what you send me on your own initiative by email, WhatsApp or LinkedIn. In practice that is:
- Your name and the name of your business.
- The email address, phone number or profile you write from.
- Whatever you tell me about your operation: processes, tools, timings, volumes.
This website collects nothing on its own. It has no forms, no analytics, no third-party scripts and it sets no cookies. The homepage loads JavaScript to animate scrolling and transitions, and every page loads a minimal snippet that remembers the theme and language you chose; that preference is stored in your own browser and never travels to a server. If the hosting provider records anything for technical reasons, such as your IP address in its access logs, that happens outside my control and I neither consult nor use it.
What it is used for
- Replying to your message.
- Preparing and holding the diagnostic call.
- Writing the scope of work and following up commercially.
- Meeting legal or accounting obligations if we end up working together.
Nothing else. Your data is not sold, not rented and not shared with third parties for advertising. There are no automatic mailing lists and no profiling.
Where it is stored
In the working tools I use every day: Gmail and Google Drive for email and documents, and WhatsApp on my phone. Those providers have servers outside Colombia, so writing to me involves an international transfer of data. Writing to me means you accept that. If that is a problem, tell me in your first message and we will agree on another way to work.
How long it is kept
- If we never work together: up to two years after the last contact, then deleted.
- If we do work together: for the duration of the project and for as long as the law requires the records of a commercial relationship to be kept.
- If you ask for deletion sooner: it is deleted when you ask, subject to the above.
Your rights
You may find out what data of yours I hold, update it, correct it, withdraw your authorisation and ask for it to be deleted. You may also file a complaint with the Superintendency of Industry and Commerce.
To exercise any of those rights, write to hola@wireops.co stating what you want and which email address or number you wrote from. The deadlines I apply are the statutory ones: ten business days for a query and fifteen business days for a claim.
How to ask for everything to be deleted
Send an email with the subject Delete my data. I delete the conversation, the emails and any document holding your information, and I confirm in writing once it is done. You do not have to explain why.
Changes to this policy
If anything material changes, the date in the header changes. If a company is ever incorporated, or a tool that collects data is ever connected, this page is updated before that happens, not after.
